Ubiquity’s Technical Solutions Architect would be responsible for managing activities that take place
during solution ideation, design, and implementation. This person will directly assist in the development of
a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems
architecture related to any major internal projects with the goal of expanding and improving all current
systems and workflows as well as those related to the implementation and integration of Ubiquity’s
clients’ programs.
Given that this person will support the architectural aspects of all application projects in peer IT portfolios,
knowledge of all branches of IT in a BPO environment is a must – Telephony, VoIP, Network and
Systems Engineering. Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary as this would be a
client-facing role meant to effectively identify technical requirements on any implementation projects, both
internal and external.
Responsibilities
• Directly assists in the development of a technical solution
• Assists other IT teams on solutions and project management.
• Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements,
or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity and usability.
• Provides analysis and recommendations around information security as necessary.
• Will provide the solution document including high-level and low-level designs for implementation
via SRF and Engineering Teams.
• Accountable for spearheading project implementations from a technical perceptive.
Qualifications and requirements
● Minimum of 6 years of experience in relevant IT Support roles with strong focus on project
management
● Excellent oral and written communication
● Analytical and problem-solving skills.
● High attention to detail on how business and technology are meant to work together.
● Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork.
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent education is a plus
● Strong understanding of Telco, Systems Engineering, and Networks in a BPO setting
● Proficiency with information technologies in a secure, PCI compliant environment.
● Efficient in using the entire suite of Microsoft Office applications.
● Customer/Technical Support experience is welcome.
