We are seeking an experienced Technical Solution Engineer to support the growth of our Energy & Control Management business across the APAC region.

This role combines deep technical expertise with customer engagement and business development. You will work closely with sales teams, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to develop and position solutions spanning power generation automation, power management systems, energy management systems, microgrids, renewable integration, and battery energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support go-to-market strategies for power automation and energy management solutions.
  • Partner with sales teams to identify, qualify, and pursue strategic opportunities across APAC.
  • Act as a technical advisor and solution consultant for customers and industry partners.

Provide expertise across:

  • Power Generation Controls
  • Power Management Systems (PMS)
  • Energy Management Systems (EMS)
  • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
  • Microgrids and Distributed Energy Resources
  • SCADA and Industrial Automation Systems
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and support development of new solution offerings.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, consultants, EPCs, utilities, and developers.
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and customer workshops.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in Power Management Systems (PMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS).

Experience in:

  • Power Generation Controls
  • Battery Energy Storage Systems (Lithium-Ion)
  • Renewable Energy Integration
  • Large-Scale Energy Storage Systems
  • Power System Automation
  • Strong understanding of utility, independent power producer (IPP), energy infrastructure, or industrial power applications.
  • Customer-facing experience in technical consulting, solution engineering, business development, or pre-sales.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively across APAC.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting AI data centres and high-demand power infrastructure environments.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled power system optimization or advanced analytics.
  • Knowledge of Front-of-the-Meter (FTM) energy storage systems.
  • Experience with nuclear power plant control solutions.
  • Additional APAC language capabilities.
