We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Solution Architect Senior Contract to join our team in New York, NY. This is a full-time, on-site position (5 days per week) that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage and optimize IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administered and managed Windows Server/Desktop operating systems, including user administration, file systems, software, and services.
- Configure and maintain servers and storage systems, including RAID configurations.
- Manage Active Directory, including backup, recovery, and Group Policy Object (GPO) setup.
- Troubleshoot fundamental networking concepts such as DHCP, DNS, routing, and firewalls.
- Implement and monitor security principles, including ACL and encryption protocols.
- Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, bash, ksh, or perl) for task automation.
- Monitor system health and performance, providing analytics to identify bottlenecks and lead optimization efforts.
- Develop disaster recovery plans and perform backup and restoration for systems, applications, and data.
- Install and manage patches and firmware updates.
- Provide exceptional customer support with a +1 service mindset
This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.

Mandatory Qualifications: (Please read carefully. They MUST be shown on your resume)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in IT support roles.
- Proficient in server, network, and storage platforms.
- Strong scripting experience for automation tasks.
- Ability to lift and transport server equipment as needed.
- Willingness to provide off-hour, on-call support, including travel to various supported sites.
- Flexibility to work overtime and respond to emergencies outside of standard business hours.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between company locations.
