As our Technical Architect, you…
- define and document the technical architecture of the UMAX solution, leveraging modern Microsoft and Azure technologies
- capture, analyze, and translate business and technical requirements into innovative, high-quality solutions
- develop proofs of concept (POCs) to validate new technologies or architectural approaches
- recommend and design standardized product integrations with third-party systems (e.g., payment processing, AMI, asset management, GIS)
- provide technical leadership and support during pre-sales, RFP development, and client solution design
- own the infrastructure and interface components of commercial proposals, ensuring alignment between sales and delivery
- serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, showcasing UMAX’s adaptability and evolution with future technologies
- act as QA and escalation point for integration or interface challenges during project delivery
- partner with integration vendors and internal teams to ensure consistent technical execution across projects
- maintain and share knowledge on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, and integration best practices
- coach and guide internal consultants and colleagues (functional and technical) to build architectural capability
What you bring
- a master’s degree in applied informatics or equivalent through experience
- 15+ years of relevant IT experience, including at least 5 years in a Technical Architect role
- proven expertise in Microsoft technologies (Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365, Azure) and enterprise integration patterns
- experience in software product development and methodologies (SDLC, Agile, DevOps)
- ability to define and implement technology strategies that drive scalability, reusability, and innovation
- experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, and Delivery teams
- strong client-facing skills, able to communicate complex solutions clearly to both technical and business audiences
- a proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
