Essential Functions and Duties:
• Ensuring that all websites and internet properties under your influence have been technically
optimized to attract and engage those visitors that closely match the agreed profile of the
target audience
• Performing periodic technical audits on the websites, making short and long term SEO strategy
recommendations
• Consulting with web developers and IT administrators to ensure necessary technical
architecture is in place
• Monitoring SEO trends, best practices and techniques to ensure cutting edge strategy, top
website rankings and identification of new opportunities
• Performing keyword research and continually analyzing results to optimize website content,
as well as reporting progress and results
• Providing ongoing training to company SEO team members on best practices and content
optimization, and assisting with their keyword research and reporting needs
• Assisting with content and on-page optimization, which includes writing and editing the
company website content and product catalog using best practices for SEO
• Develop and implement link building campaigns
Computer Skills:
• Knowledge of major SEO Analytics and Reporting Platforms or demonstrated ability to learn
similar software
• Advanced computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel) or Google
Docs/Sheets
• Solid grasp of HTML/CSS, and a working understanding of Javascript and how it affects SEO
