At Continuous Composites, we are transforming advanced manufacturing with CF3D®—our breakthrough composite 3D printing technology powering innovation in Aerospace and Defense. We move fast, solve hard problems, and build technology that matters.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Technical Segment Manager to drive the strategy, customer alignment, and proof‑of‑concept development across four key product segments: Missile & Hypersonic Airframes, Thermal Protection & Aeroshells, Propulsion & Flowpath Components, and Unmanned & Attritable Airframes.
You will own Segment Requirements Documents (SRDs), translate customer needs into technical direction, lead demonstrations, and help shape our external technical narrative.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and maintain SRDs that guide engineering and market strategy
• Build customer engagement plans and lead technical conversations, demos, and spec reviews
• Identify capability gaps and recommend engineering priorities
• Lead proof‑of‑concept design, testing, and demonstrator hardware
• Deliver external technical presentations and support content for marketing
• Support high‑value proposals with technical narratives and differentiated solutions
What Success Looks Like
• Four well‑maintained SRDs used by engineering and sales
• Ten POC case studies annually, including segment‑specific demonstrator parts
• Strong customer engagement and new technical conversations quarter over quarter
• Clear, compelling technical positioning for each segment
• High‑quality technical input on major proposals
What You’ll Bring
• Strong technical background in aerospace, composites, advanced materials, or similar fields
• Ability to translate market needs into clear technical requirements
• Confidence engaging with engineering teams, customers, and technical stakeholders
• Excellent technical communication skills
• A bias for action and comfort working in an evolving, fast‑paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in hypersonics, thermal protection, propulsion components, UAVs, or missile systems
• Familiarity with materials/process qualification or allowables development
• Experience developing technical content or presenting at industry events
• STEM degree or equivalent hands‑on experience
Why Join Us?
• Work on next‑generation aerospace and defense technologies
• Own strategy, customer engagement, and proof‑of‑concept development for critical segments
• Join a small, high‑impact, mission‑driven team
• Competitive salary, incentives, equity, and benefits

What We Do
Owning the earliest patent on 3D printing continuous fibers, our Continuous Fiber 3D Printing (CF3D™) technology, constitutes a fundamental shift in the manufacturing process of Advanced Composite Materials (ACM). Our technology leverages rapid curing resins paired with continuous fibers creating a moldless, Out of Autoclave (OOA) composite manufacturing process. CF3D can also embed functionality with fiber optics and copper wires creating a part that can sense and react to environmental stimuli. Composite materials with their low weight, exceptional versatility, and tailorable properties have been slowly revolutionizing high-performance industries for decades. We have combined these materials with the latest technology in 3D printing and robotics opening new design possibilities for manufacturers and consumers. Traditional 3D printing and the composites manufacturing industry are plagued with the limitation of only being able to stack 2D slices; our technology can discretely print fibers in response to loads oriented in all 3 dimensions. Our patented technology, Continuous Fiber 3D Printing (CF3D™), is the cornerstone for the next industrial revolution. Our intellectual property portfolio consists of over 200 patented and patent pending concepts and growing. We are seeking to develop and license our technology to industry participants in all sectors including aerospace, automotive, defense, construction, etc.
