Join our team and serve as a Technical Sales Specialist in Jacksonville, Texas. In this position you will be responsible for the sales and support of custom greenhouse structures, equipment, and accessories. You will consult with customers, project design, estimating, project management and after-sales support. Responsibilities also include some travel with outside sales staff, developing sales opportunities and meetings with potential customers.
More specifically you will:
- Inside and outside sales - Take incoming sales calls and provide technical support for BWI customers and sales staff. Travel with salespeople as directed to develop greenhouse related sales opportunities within the BWI distribution area.
- Vendor relations - Manage vendor relations in order to enhance the services we provide for customers, strengthen critical partnerships, and build business for BWI.
- Manage all aspects of greenhouse project design. This includes consultation with customers to establish their needs and project requirements, formalizing proposals for customer approval, and finalizing the sale.
- Manage all aspects of new greenhouse construction and remodeling project This involves coordinating material delivery, contractor scheduling and customer communication, as well as project site visits.
- Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the life of a project as well as ongoing technical support for existing and potential customers.
- Trade Show Participation – Attend industry trade shows and other sales related events as directed to promote greenhouse sales.
- Provide daily sales and technical support related to greenhouse equipment, glazing materials, controls, and accessories.
- Perform all other duties as directed by the GTS Manager.

To apply for this position, you must have a bachelor’s degree and be proficient with Microsoft Office. In addition, one year of related sales experience along with some mechanical and construction knowledge is preferred.

The candidate will be compensated based on their work experience and skills, with the minimum starting salary for this position being $50,000 annually.
