How you will make contributions that matter
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our dedicated and collaborative team at AG Warehouse. This role is crucial in developing and fostering strong relationships with a targeted portfolio of existing and new clients, providing technical advice while promoting product sales and service solutions in line with company and sales objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and fostering strong relationships with a targeted portfolio of existing and new clients.
- Providing sound and credible technical advice in line with the production targets and business goals of the client.
- Promoting product sales and service solutions in line with company and sales objectives.
- Targeting new clients through superior sales and technical input.
- Identifying and visiting new client prospects as part of an annual business development call cycle.
- Assisting with coordinating field days, including conducting field demonstrations and trial work for product development in conjunction with key suppliers.
About you
- Preferred Diploma or Bachelor of Agricultural Science and/or relevant industry training.
- Previous experience in a Technical Sales role in the retail industry will be well regarded .
- Proven experience and knowledge of the agricultural retail industry.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Customer service orientation with a dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
- Attention to detail and the ability to accurately check processes and tasks.
