ROLE OVERVIEW
  • As a Technical Sales Executive for Autonomous Valve CFD (AVC), you will drive sales of simulationHub's flagship product for valve manufacturers and industrial engineering teams. AVC enables valve design teams to run virtual flow loop tests, validate performance, and generate customer-ready technical reports- without requiring any CFD expertise or HPC setup. You will own the full sales cycle: from finding the right prospects to closing deals and building lasting customer relationships.
  • This is a focused, execution-oriented sales role. You will be selling to valve manufacturers, valve OEMs, industrial equipment manufacturers, and engineering or R&D teams who benefit from faster design validation and reduced dependency on physical testing, traditional CFD, or outsourcing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify and proactively reach out to potential customers through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and participation in industry events and trade shows.
  • Qualify leads against the target customer profile and assess their likelihood of conversion before advancing them in the pipeline.
  • Conduct clear, engaging product demonstrations that communicate the value of AVC - including virtual flow loop testing, Cv/Kv/Cdt results, cavitation insights, and automated technical reporting.
  • Manage and maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM software, tracking leads, activities, and deal progress consistently.
  • Meet and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process and beyond, supporting retention and repeat engagement.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and developments in the valve and industrial simulation space.
  • Represent simulationHub at industry events and customer sites; willingness to travel is essential for this role.

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or technical sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and work independently toward targets.
  • Working proficiency with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) for pipeline and activity tracking.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, demonstrations, and industry events.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior experience selling SaaS products, engineering software, or industrial/technical solutions.
  • Exposure to the valve industry, fluid systems, or industrial manufacturing, either through sales or an engineering background.
  • Familiarity with concepts such as flow coefficients (Cv/Kv), pressure drop, or valve performance testing (not required, but a plus).
  • Experience attending or representing companies at engineering trade shows or industry conferences.
SKILLS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - able to connect with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in a clear, simple, and compelling manner.
  • Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working with a degree of autonomy.
  • Good analytical skills for evaluating leads, customer needs, and sales performance.
  • Organized and disciplined in CRM and pipeline hygiene.
