CommScope is currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer to support our North American Central team.

What to Expect:

As a Technical Sales Engineer for the Service Provider marketplace, you will maintain CommScope's leadership position in customer support for fiber optic cable, network connectivity, and other products and services.

This position can be located anywhere in the U.S.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Providing training and support to our customer base while assisting the field sales team with rapid thorough complain resolution and technical support
  • Identifying and proposing new product concepts to meet evolving customer needs

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline
  • 8+ years of progressive technical product experience
  • Ability to function in a sales/customer environment.
  • Able to function independently and exercise judgment to react to situations in a timely manner.
  • A high degree of integrity due to exposure to sensitive sales data and strategic product plans.
  • Able to proceed with considerable freedom and conduct own projects, making evaluations and providing recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and computer skills.
  • MS Office experience, especially experience with PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel upwards of 50-60% to US and Canada

You Will Excite Us If You:

  • Have experience in the MSO (multiple system operator) industry
  • Have experience with fiber optic cable and connectivity products desired

The candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, medical, dental, and vision plans, life, and accidental death insurance, and participation in the Company's Sales Incentive Plan. Our salary ranges consider various factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skills, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with outstanding experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. The anticipated total compensation for this role is $122K-$155K.
