主な業務内容

  • 安全・リスクプロジェクトを主導し、スコープ・予算・スケジュールを遵守したプロジェクト遂行
  • 以下を含む高度な技術解析の実施
    • 定量的リスク評価(QRA)
    • Excelおよび専門ソフトウェアを活用したリスク分析
    • ガス拡散・煙拡散シミュレーション
    • パイプラインリスク評価および費用対効果分析
    • Safety Integrity Level(SIL)評価
  • リスク低減および操業安全性向上に向けた設計改善提案
  • 設備概要やFormal Safety Assessmentを含む包括的なセーフティケースの作成
  • HAZID、HAZOP、LOPA、Bowtie、ALARPなどの安全性評価ワークショップの準備・ファシリテーション・報告
  • 分析結果や計算根拠を明確に示した高品質なレポート作成
  • ERMのPartner-in-ChargeおよびProject Managerのプロジェクト運営や顧客対応を支援
  • ジュニアコンサルタントの育成およびチーム開発への貢献

応募資格

必須要件

  • 工学系学士号(化学、機械、プロセス工学等)
  • 修士号または専門資格保有者歓迎
  • Safety & Riskコンサルティング分野における5~9年程度の実務経験
  • 関連法規制および業界基準に関する知識
  • 優れたプロジェクトマネジメント能力
  • 複数分野の専門家からなるチームをリードした経験
  • 高い分析力および問題解決能力
  • 細部まで配慮した高品質な成果物作成能力
  • 出張が可能であり、自律的に業務を遂行できること

語学要件

  • 日本語:流暢レベル(JLPT N1相当以上)

Job Summary
As a Senior Consultant, you will lead technical safety and risk projects, manage client relationships, and mentor junior team members. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality analysis, reports, and recommendations that meet regulatory standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage safety and risk projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Perform advanced technical analysis, including:
    • Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) using Excel and specialized tools.
    • Gas and smoke dispersion modelling.
    • Pipeline risk assessments and cost/benefit analysis.
    • Safety integrity level (SIL) studies.
  • Suggest design improvements to reduce risk and enhance operational safety.
  • Prepare comprehensive safety cases, including facility descriptions and formal safety assessments.
  • Facilitate and lead safety workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, Bowtie, ALARP), including preparation and client reporting.
  • Prepare high-quality reports with clear diagrams and fully explained analysis and calculations.
  • Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers in project governance and client engagement.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team development.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s degree and/or professional registration preferred).
  • 5–9 years in safety and risk consulting with exposure to regulatory standards.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
  • Business-level English proficiency

Skills Required
