Job DescriptionYou'll be the specialist who brings top engineering talent through the door—sourcing exceptional candidates, managing the full recruiting lifecycle, and delivering outstanding candidate experiences. You'll partner closely with our Head of Talent and engineering hiring managers, owning end-to-end recruiting for engineering roles while helping us scale our technical team.
What you’ll doFull-Cycle Recruiting
Own the full recruiting lifecycle for all engineering, product, and design roles (whether full-stack engineers, product managers, or designers) ensuring a thoughtful and engaging candidate experience from first touch to offer acceptance.
Serve as a candidate's first impression of Runway, sharing our mission, values, and culture in ways that inspire them to engage with us.
Track key recruiting metrics and leverage data to measure effectiveness, pipeline health, forecast hiring needs, and drive continuous improvement in our hiring strategies.
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through proactive sourcing
Partner with hiring managers on role scoping and interview processes (vs. "advising on strategy")
Ensure exceptional candidate experience from first touch through offer acceptance

4+ years of technical recruiting experience, especially in startups or high-growth companies, with a proven track record of identifying, qualifying, and closing exceptional technical talent.

A sourcing superpower - You're skilled at discovering hidden talent through advanced search techniques and creative sourcing channels. You know how to find candidates who aren't actively looking and get them excited about new opportunities.
Data-driven approach - You track the right metrics, use data to optimize your process, and can forecast pipeline health and hiring timelines.
Technical fluency - You can speak credibly with engineers, product managers, and designers about their work, assess technical skills effectively, and understand what it takes to build out a great team.
Strategic mindset - You balance high-volume recruiting with maintaining quality, anticipate roadblocks proactively, and you're comfortable advising hiring managers on hiring strategy, market trends, and talent density.

Hands-on experience with Ashby; familiarity with sourcing tools and other recruiting platforms

Previous experience recruiting for technical roles across multiple specializations (backend, frontend, infra, etc.)

The base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000-$175,000 USD + generous early employee equity + benefits. The range displayed in this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills (as uncovered during the interview process), experience, and relevant education or training.
