As a Technical Recruiter at Insomniac Design, you will play a crucial role in attracting and hiring top software engineering talent to support our agency's growth. You will be responsible for the full cycle recruitment process from developing a pipeline, sourcing, screening, and selecting exceptional candidates through to supporting the onboarding process. This position is key in identifying candidates who align with our company culture and possess the skills necessary to make exceptional contributions to our projects.

  • Actively mentors junior team members, contributes to the hiring and performance management process, providing valuable insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand staffing needs and assess position requirements.
  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to build a talent pipeline and attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks to source potential candidates.
  • Review resumes and applications, conduct initial screenings, and schedule candidate interviews.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and conduct technical assessments, coding challenges, and design challenges.
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system, manage the candidate pipeline, and provide KPIs and regular updates to hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the recruitment process and candidate experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and the competitive landscape to ensure effective sourcing and competitive hiring strategies.
  • Assist in onboarding activities for new hires.
  • Provide general and administrative human resources support to the organization including performance management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter, preferably in the technology/software engineering industry.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering roles and technologies.
  • Human Resources experience, including knowledge of policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with recruitment techniques, tools, and best practices, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Human Resources software.
  • Experience in sourcing and attracting top talent through various recruitment and social channels.
  • Excellent interview and assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate technical skills and cultural fit.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient English writing and speaking skills.
