We seek a highly motivated and experienced Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and guiding the hiring process for technical positions within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of technical roles, tools, and the current Tech job market to attract and engage top talent effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing & Acquisition:
- Utilize various sourcing methods (job boards, social media, professional networks, etc.) to identify and engage with best-in-class technical talent.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for key technical roles.
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to monitor and guide applicants throughout the hiring journey.
Technical Screening & Interviews:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical job requirements and the skills needed for open roles.
- Carry out the first stage of remote interviews to appraise applicants' technical expertise and potential to integrate well with the company's ethos and work environment.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with appropriate stakeholders.
Candidate Management:
- Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely updates and feedback.
- Provide a great candidate experience by communicating effectively and fostering engagement from application through onboarding.
Partnership with Hiring Teams:
- Partner with our Builders department to anticipate staffing needs and provide market insights.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to craft compelling job descriptions, interview processes, and candidate evaluation criteria.
Market Research & Reporting:
- Stay updated on the latest recruiting trends in the tech industry, compensation benchmarks, and talent market conditions.
Required Qualifications:
- +5 years of technical recruiting experience, preferably within an agency or in-house technical recruiting team.
- Solid understanding of technical roles (software engineers, data scientists, DevOps, etc.), programming languages, frameworks, and emerging technologies.
- Experience using ATS systems and recruitment tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and Stack Overflow for candidate sourcing.
- Proficient in engaging with others, conveying messages clearly, and navigating discussions toward agreement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Recruitment experience within tech companies or fast-scaling environments.
