The RoleWe’re hiring a Technical Recruiter to help scale Wizard’s engineering and AI teams. This role is responsible for end-to-end recruiting for assigned roles, partnering closely with hiring managers to build strong, high-quality teams.
This is not a transactional recruiting role. You will be a strategic operator and partner. You will work directly with leadership and hiring managers to understand their organizations, influence hiring decisions, and build scalable processes with Wizard.
What You’ll Do- Own full-cycle recruiting and the candidate experience for assigned roles
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, what success looks like and craft appropriate interview plans
- Source and engage high-quality candidates through multiple channels
- Manage candidate pipeline, ensuring strong communication with partners, people leadership, and candidates
- Track recruiting metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
- Help evolve recruiting processes, tooling, and best practices as the company scales
- Represent Wizard’s culture
- Consistently hiring strong technical talent that raises the bar internally and is aligned with our values
- Recruiting processes scale smoothly as hiring volume increases
- Candidates have a positive experience, regardless of outcome, and Wizard’s brand is well represented
- Recruiting is seen as a strategic function that helps the company move faster and smarter
- 4-7 years of experience recruiting for technical roles
- Experience recruiting engineers and technical talent in fast-moving startup or scale-up environments
- Strong sourcing skills and comfort engaging passive candidates
- Ability to understand technical roles well enough to screen effectively and guide hiring managers
- Excellent communication skills, organization, and stakeholder management
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building process where needed
The expected base salary range for this role is $155,000 - $200,000 USD, and will vary based on skills, experience, role level, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined by considering these factors alongside overall role scope and responsibilities.
