The Technical Project Manager / Team Lead will provide leadership, technical oversight, and strategic direction for a multidisciplinary team of IT professionals supporting enterprise IT operations and modernization efforts. - Lead the implementation, maintenance, modernization, and optimization of enterprise IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity-related systems.
- Evaluate technical debt, conduct research and discovery efforts, and develop scalable technical solutions that support both immediate operational needs and long-term strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with technical leadership, subject matter experts, stakeholders, and government personnel to ensure technology solutions align with mission and business requirements.
- Oversee configuration management and change control processes, ensuring all technical recommendations, implementations, and modifications are properly documented and maintained.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and problem resolution assistance to engineering and operational teams.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams, leadership, and non-technical stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment across multiple IT domains.
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execution efforts to minimize operational disruption and data loss.
- Identify emerging technologies, process improvements, and modernization initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and mission effectiveness.
- Manage project schedules, deliverables, milestones, and task execution to ensure successful and timely project completion.
- Prepare and deliver project status updates, technical documentation, whitepapers, and executive-level briefings for senior leadership and program management.
- 13+ years of experience across IT disciplines such as systems engineering, network engineering, software development, cybersecurity, or related technical fields; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading and supervising teams of 20 or more personnel in a technical or operational environment.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification required.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, including infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and software systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively across diverse technical domains and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into actionable information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- CompTIA Security+ certification preferred.
Security Clearance:
- Active DoD Secret clearance required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, if required.
The base pay range for this role is $135,000 – $160,000 per year.
