We're looking for a Technical Project Manager with strong organizational skills and a solid technical foundation to help us take our projects from idea to delivery. You'll be managing scopes of work, defining specifications, coordinating with partners, and reviewing implementations to ensure they meet expectations.
The JobYour main task would be to guide projects through their lifecycle. You'll take initiatives like “we need to integrate with an external partner” and own them end-to-end: reaching out to contacts, scoping requirements, breaking down the work for developers, and reviewing the final results against the plan.
This role is hands-on. You should be comfortable installing our WIP apps locally, running Docker, testing APIs, and troubleshooting why something is or isn't working. While you won't be coding full time, you'll need enough technical grounding to validate solutions, explore edge cases, and communicate effectively with the development team.
We have dozens of 3rd-party integrations and ongoing refinements to our core systems. You'll be helping define the specs for these, ensure clarity for developers, and follow up through delivery. Some work may involve reviewing infrastructure or tooling setups, so being willing to dive into technical details is important.
You'll be working with an all-remote team that's used to getting work done through text-based channels (backlogs, wikis, and Slack conversations). Great text-based asynchronous communication is key to this position. You have to be a good writer, being able to explain your ideas clearly to the rest of the team.
SkillsWe'll assess candidates across multiple categories. Strength in one area can offset less experience in another.
- Experience managing technical projects from planning to delivery
- Ability to create and review detailed specifications for developers
- Hands-on technical skills: installing apps locally, using Docker, testing integrations
- Experience with 3rd-party API integrations
- Strong written communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with production environments and troubleshooting workflows
- Experience in healthcare, or fintech would be a plus
- Previous background as a developer, systems analyst, or similar technical role would be a plus
For reference, some keywords for tools and technologies in our stack:
- AWS (many products)
- PHP
- Laravel
- GraphQL APIs (writing and consuming)
- Stripe, Twilio, Google APIs, Dropbox APIs, and many other 3rd-party integrations
- OpenSearch
- OpenAI APIs and other AI-related tooling
This is a full-time remote position. We're used to working as a dispersed team so you must be cool with collaborating online and a lot over text. We're flexible on schedules, but at least 4 hours of overlap with a core of your team is mandatory.

What We Do
About Entermotion
Entermotion is, at its core, a company that has been doing development and design for 20 years. But we also cast our net wider than simply making logos and creating landing pages.
Our current focus is on several projects with clients we love and that we have a personal and emotional stake in. This includes app development in the medical space, but we’ve also got projects going on in web design, VR, book publishing, photography, and game design.
We’re proud of what we do and the people who work here. If you’re looking for work that’s thoughtful, honest, and maybe a little different, this is it.
We’re completely remote, which means our small team of about 25 is spread all over the world.
We’re not super corporate. If you’re coming from a big company, you might find the way we do things a little strange. But it works for us, and we think it can work for you too.
Our culture revolves around curiosity and a willingness to experiment. Everyone here has a voice, and we encourage team members to pitch ideas, no matter how offbeat or ambitious. Every project, big or small, has the potential to shape who we are and what we’re known for.
