Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our IT department as an IT Project Analyst. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful execution of Business and IT projects, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient delivery.
Primary Responsibilities and Competencies:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports and presentations.
- Coordinate with team, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
- Coordinate development, budget, expenses, testing, deployment.
- Track project progress, identify roadblocks, and escalate issues to the Project Manager.
- Assist in the procurement and management of project resources
- Maintain project documentation and ensure proper archiving.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to team discussions.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed and create workflows.
- Support the implementation of project management methodologies and best practices.
Required Education, Experience and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in project management or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to technical terms and teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Adkar, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and results-oriented.
Preferred Education, Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Experience with NetSuite and Microsoft Suites
- Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP)
