We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our Program management Office (PMO). In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex projects while aligning them with the Aristocrat Labs (ALABs) strategic objectives. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive synergy, collaboration, and productivity. Exceptional strategic thinking, technical expertise, and project management skills will be instrumental in achieving successful project outcomes.
Reporting to the PMO leadership, the Technical Project Manager will be embedded in our technology teams, tasked with building and maintaining industry-leading gaming technology. You will participate in our exciting journey as we continue to build our teams and to optimize our tools and processes for a new centralized, cross-business unit, gaming technology development function.

What You'll Do

Successful operational excellence for project delivery demands a few critical daily, weekly, monthly requirements and duties in the role:

  • Conduct thorough project assessments, including risk analysis, resource planning, and feasibility studies to identify potential obstacles and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Lead the planning, execution and delivery of large-scale technology projects while ensuring adherence to scope, budget and schedule requirements using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Develop, maintain, and revise proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.

  • Establish and implement project communication plans, project charters, stakeholder engagement and change management strategies.

  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, including key milestones, risks, and issues. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, requirements, design documents and user manuals.

  • Identify, assess, mitigate project risks and issues. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Facilitate risk and issue resolution, escalating as necessary.

  • Align quality assurance processes with project deliverables to meet defined standards. Conduct regular quality reviews, testing, and validation to verify infrastructure functionality and performance.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership, key stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, objectives, requirements, deliverables, and expectations, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision. Foster effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Adapt and contribute to the overall success of the project management practice within the organization.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their growth in technical skills, project management practices, and leadership capabilities to enhance overall team performance

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager, leading and delivering strategic projects within a technology-driven organization.

  • Demonstrated strategic mindset, with a track record of aligning projects with business objectives and delivering tangible results.

  • Firm grasp on the product technology and software development process and pitfalls throughout planning, execution, and delivery.

  • Ability to innovate in a dynamic environment with multiple cross-functional business units.

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall project management practices.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

  • Experience in reporting project status, risks, issues, and resource utilization to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams and foster a culture of excellence.

  • Proficiency in project management software, collaboration tools, and analytics platforms.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision making abilities, with a focus on resolving issues and delivering high quality results within project constraint

Pay Range$104,213 - $193,538 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
