We are looking for:
A Project Management leader, who thrives in delivering complex Projects according to the customer’s satisfaction while remaining on-time / on-budget / on quality. A committed team player that is experienced in working with and leading cross-functional teams in a complex technical environment. You also enjoy some travel to Customer sites with a focus on collaboration, building strong relationships, managing project risks and engaging the site implementation team as required.
In this position, you will:
- Align pre-sales opportunities and project implementations to ensure efficient handover from the sales organization
- Assist in shaping, defining, and planning a Project as key inputs to the Scope for an opportunity
- In conjunction with sales, review customer RFP/RFIs, contracts and agreements and ensure that delivery risks are mitigated
- Build a detailed understanding of the Customer's business requirements, spanning functional, non-functional and implementation aspects
- Manage and set Customer expectations throughout the Project lifecycle
- Be accountable and responsible for the successful execution and delivery of IMUBIT projects in accordance with IMUBIT PMO practices
- Take full ownership of Project definition, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure and manage the implementation team to deliver on the agreed project schedule and deliverables
- Manage and optimize resource utilization
- Engage and form a strong relationships with Customers at senior levels, set up formal governance and participates in Customer project board meetings
- Provide regular management reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Drive adherence to IMUBIT Project Management processes, tools, techniques, and best practices and ensure these are applied throughout the life of the project
- Coach and mentor the Project teams and support them in conducting their jobs, developing their technical and soft skills and give attention to their well being
- Contribute to the continual improvement of IMUBIT Project Management processes, tools, techniques, and best practices based on Project experiences and lessons learned
- Contribute to standardization and ‘best practices’ initiatives i.e. creates new techniques, methods, processes, templates, tools, to improve efficiency, repeatability and knowledge transfer
- Drive standardization initiatives into Projects and ensure candidates for reusable components are submitted to the PMO
Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience delivering highly customized or tailored software solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical discipline
- Current PMP Certification or Intent to pursue Project Management qualifications such as PMP
- Proven experience delivering highly technical projects to the Refining and Chemicals industries
- Successful track record in B2B Project Delivery and Execution (in complex capital or expense projects and in software implementations) and managing teams of implementation engineers, to include enterprise-scale deployments
- Fully familiar with both Waterfall and Agile Project Delivery approaches like Waterfall and Agile
- Advanced presentation skills with the ability to present proposals or solutions to customers at director level and above. Comfortable presenting to large audiences, such as user groups
- 25% travel required to customer sites required
