What is the position?
Cognosante is seeking a highly motivated Subproduct Line Lead (re: Technical Project Manager) to join our team to support a large program team in support of the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA). The ideal candidate will be a leader, problem solver, collaborator, and excellent communicator.
What will I get to do?
You will manage the overall performance, quality, and schedule of their products, and lead and manage a team of business/technical subject matter experts (SMEs). The Subproduct Line Lead will be responsible for governance and oversight of the team to provide capability delivery lifecycle management, configuration, enhancement/development, data management, operations and maintenance, and Solution-as-a-Service. The Subproduct Line Lead should be familiar with the frameworks and best practices relevant to the scope of work (e.g., Agile, SAFe, etc.). This is a hands-on position. and you will often involve yourself in the day-to-day activities and decision-making processes for the products in your Subproduct Line. It is a remote/telework position.
What qualifications do I need?

Bachelor’s degree, 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
-
10 years of relevant experience
-
Experience managing Information Technology related projects, and well versed in life cycle and management methodologies

Experienced in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress, and able to identify and mitigate risks

Ability to obtain and maintain a VA NACI clearance

Knowledge of Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies

Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs

Compensation
$133,531.24 - $213,649.98
The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. The estimate displayed represents the salary range for this position and is just one component of Cognosante’s total compensation package for employees. It is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee.
