Technical Project Manager (TPM)
Needham, MA
The Role That Holds It All Together
Every great product that ships on time, hits its quality bar, and earns 5-star reviews has one thing in common: someone was making sure all the pieces came together. At SharkNinja, that's the Technical Project Manager.
This is an early-career opportunity with real scope. You'll sit at the intersection of engineering, design, commercial, and supply chain teams - the person who brings structure to complex programs, keeps global teams aligned, and partners directly with design managers and engineers to get best-in-class products to market.
What You'll Do
You own the what and when of your programs. The engineers own the how. Together, you're accountable for delivering products consumers love, on time, and to the highest standard.
Day to day, that means:
  • Maintaining and driving integrated project schedules across global teams, ensuring programs are tracking to plan and meeting retailer requirements
  • Aligning cross-functional teams - engineering, commercial, supply chain, and design - on project direction, priorities, and key decisions
  • Tracking and resolving technical issues through JIRA, keeping stakeholders informed on status, risks, and blockers
  • Running internal team meetings, maintaining project plans, and producing clear updates for executive reviews
  • Supporting legacy product programs alongside new product development, contributing to a portfolio of active projects simultaneously
  • Building working relationships across US, UK, and China teams to ensure nothing falls through the cracks

What You Bring
You have an engineering background and strong instincts for how complex projects actually get delivered. You're organized, direct, and comfortable translating technical detail for non-technical audiences. You want to be close to the product - not just the spreadsheet.
  • Engineering background (degree or equivalent experience)
  • 1-3+ years in a project management or technical coordination role
  • Experience managing projects through the full product lifecycle - consumer products or plastics experience preferred
  • Technically literate: comfortable with manufacturing processes, DFM constraints, and engineering design data
  • Strong communicator - able to relay complex technical challenges to cross-functional and non-technical teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with JIRA, SolidWorks, or Creo is a plus
  • Exposure to senior stakeholder or executive-level presentations is a bonus, not a requirement

Why This Role
SharkNinja moves fast, ships globally, and takes product quality seriously. As a TPM, you'll have visibility across the full product development process, exposure to senior leadership, and the chance to grow into a more senior program management career track. If you're an early-career engineer or project manager looking for a role with real ownership and room to develop, this is a strong place to start.
