As the Project Manager for Tech Central’s Executive Concierge Services you will have a unique opportunity to work across the landscape of technology and service rollouts for Vanguard’s officer team and the Board of Directors. In this role you will lead programs that ensure seamless executive technology experiences across C‑suite engagements, Board meetings, enterprise events and the needs of our key business partners. You’ll orchestrate cross‑functional delivery (end‑user engineering, AV/UC, security, enterprise platforms), rollout and strategy of executive technologies and shape the operating rhythms of the service structure for the team.
This role does not require technical coding skills, but will likely interface with engineering and operations teams in the technical space. Do not hesitate to apply without a technical background, but do show your interest in the space.
Responsibilities:
Manages technology projects or multiple technical workstreams within a broader project or program. Develops, implements, and monitors project plans. Contributes expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
Provides insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to ensure strategies are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.
Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.
Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.
Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks and any related issues on technology projects. Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Clear experience in managing cross-divisional projects (especially if they go beyond IT alone).
Organization as an instinct, planning and communication as a demonstrated skillset.
Proficiency in program/portfolio structure, critical‑path management, and proactive risk/issue handling.
Ability to build strong relationships across engineering, operations, and security; converts strategy into executable roadmaps.
Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services and technical experience preferred.
Undergraduate degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering) required. Graduate degree preferred.
