We are currently looking for Technical Project Manager to join our Aladdin Client Transformation team. The ideal candidate will know and learn all aspects of the Private Markets industry as well as client consulting skills. Job Description

 

The focus of this role will be to work with our clients delivering value to our existing eFront clients helping them improving their business performance and better leverage the latest functionalities. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, project planning, risk management, budget oversight, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality deliverables. The candidate will ideally possess some eFront knowledge or business and/or technical expertise and excellent communication skills. 

Your Tasks 

  • Effective overall responsibility to deliver requirements to clients following our best practices and managing key elements including scope, deliverables, resources, timelines and budget. 

  • Develop achievable baselined plan and deliver to plan by monitoring milestones achievements. 

  • Manage and communicate all deviations from plan. 

  • Monitor and control projects by actively identifying, tracking, managing, mitigating and resolving project issues and risks – provide the requested internal and external reporting 

  • Collaborate with project team members to build consensus on challenging issues 

  • Communicate requirements and actively set & manage expectations to ensure all team members and stakeholders are accountable for their role in the project’s overall success 

  • Track and store project artefacts 

  • Manage key stakeholders by setting appropriate expectations, ensure proper communication and manage crisis 

 

Must have: 

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Organizational Sciences or related software engineering background 

  • Fluent in written and spoken English 

  • MS Office 

  • Problem-solving thinking 

  • Strong interpersonal skills – exhibit professionalism at all times 

 

Should have: 

  • Strong organizational skills 

  • Good time management and ability to multi-task and manage multiple clients in parallel 

  • A team player capable to work independently 

  • A ‘can do’ attitude – willingness to accept challenges  

  • Interest in the functional part of the product 

  • Knowledge about the Finance industry 

 

Nice to have: 

  • Knowledge of eFront Invest 

  • Knowledge of standard reporting tools such as SSRS, Tableau, Power BI etc. 

  • Knowledge of C# or another object-oriented language 

  • Previous work experience will be positively considered 

  • Understanding the client’s requirements and provide solutions 

  • Knowledge in SQL 

  • Developing customized reports and dashboards (basic FrontScript (SAS-like) and SQL) 

  • Implementing and configuring system to match client needs (basic JavaScript, VB, SQL)
