Summary Generated by Built In

Microamp is an innovative technology company developing cutting-edge 5G mmWave systems. Our core offering includes high-performance radio units, a full software stack for RAN (L1/L2/L3), and end-to-end deployment solutions. We own our hardware and software designs and work with trusted partners for manufacturing and system integration.

As we scale our operations and prepare for mass production, we are looking for a highly organized and technically fluent Technical Program Manager / Project Manager to help align our teams, streamline development and deployment, and drive production readiness.

This Technical Program Manager / Project Manager role is a central coordination point across our Hardware, Software, and RAN/Deployment teams. You'll work closely with engineering leads and the CTO to ensure that prototypes, features, and full systems are delivered on time and to spec — while also preparing internal processes and documentation for scaling and mass production.

Whether your background is more in project delivery or full program oversight, success in this role means bringing strong technical understanding, proactive coordination, and scalable organization to a complex, engineering-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

Cross-Team Project & Program Coordination

  • Manage technical schedules and milestones across hardware, software, and RAN/system integration teams.

  • Align priorities and timelines, track dependencies, and drive execution across engineering functions.

  • Facilitate regular updates, issue tracking, and milestone reviews.

Product & Prototype Support

  • Ensure the hardware team has access to necessary firmware, tools, and test software for prototyping and validation.

  • Coordinate with the software team to align platform support with hardware availability and new feature testing.

  • Work with the RAN team to test and validate full system configurations in lab and field environments.

Manufacturing & Production Readiness

  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners (e.g., EMS, enclosure vendors) to prepare for mass production.

  • Track and maintain documentation readiness: BoMs, firmware/software release versions, assembly/test procedures, etc.

  • Support internal handoff processes from engineering to production.

Process Development for Scaling

  • Help formalize lightweight, scalable processes for internal testing, release management, documentation, and quality checks.

  • Introduce project tracking and workflow systems as needed to support engineering growth.

  • Identify and improve gaps in communication, documentation, or delivery flow.

Partner and Deployment Coordination

  • Align internal readiness with external partner requirements for software compatibility, system validation, and field deployments.

  • Support the RAN/Deployment team in planning and executing field trials, PoCs, and customer integrations.

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management within a product-driven engineering company.

  • Understanding of both hardware and embedded software lifecycles.

  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing complex, cross-functional technical efforts.

  • Familiarity with subcontractor or vendor coordination (e.g., EMS, component suppliers, test labs).

Good to have

  • Experience in telecom/wireless industries (e.g., 4G/5G, mmWave, RAN systems).

  • Exposure to manufacturing ramp-up or New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.

  • Understanding of embedded Linux systems, FPGA development, or RF design workflows.

  • Hands-on experience with Redmine or similar project tracking tools.

Job benefits
  • Salary: 12,000 – 20,000 PLN gross (contract of employment or B2B/casual contract).

  • Flexible working hours and location – hybrid and/or on-site

  • Opportunity to grow in a high-impact role within a fast-growing company.

  • Healthcare & sport packages.

  • Integration events, great coffee, and a supportive team atmosphere.

  • Work with a collaborative, technically strong team on high-impact projects.

  • Play a key role in shaping the delivery and growth processes of a cutting-edge tech company.

  • See your coordination directly translate to real-world, deployed systems.
