Essential Job Duties
BambooHR is looking for a Technical Program Manager who is ready to spearhead innovative projects that shape the future of technology! Program Managers at BambooHR play a critical role in driving the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of projects across Engineering, IT, and Security departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong program management background with proven leadership skills and a passion for driving continuous improvement
You will:
- Collaborate with key partners and stakeholders to define program scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, budget estimates, and risk assessments.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure technical requirements are accurately captured, tracked, and met throughout program life cycles.
- Identify and manage program dependencies, critical path, and potential bottlenecks, while making adjustments as necessary to ensure project success.
- Proactively mitigate program risks and issues, developing contingency plans and providing timely resolutions to maintain project momentum.
- Monitor program performance metrics and KPIs, producing status reports for key partners and leaders.
- Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging cross-functional teamwork, knowledge transfer, and effective communication.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate program status, updates, and risks to key stakeholders and leadership.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Agile, Scrum, JIRA, Wrike).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- 5+ years of proven experience in program management, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects.
- Bonus points for candidates with data and analytics projects experience and utilizing insights to enhance project efficiency and support strategic goals.
- Bonus points for candidates who have successfully integrated AI into daily operations and led transformative AI process changes across engineering, product, and design teams.
