Who We Are

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. So why work at Kyndryl? We are always moving forward – always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.

The Role

Kyndryl is the world’s leading IT infrastructure services provider, designing, building, managing, and modernizing the mission-critical technology systems that the global economy depends on every day. Within our Applications and Enterprise Data organization, our teams engineer, deploy, and scale high-impact production solutions that solve our clients' most demanding digital challenges.

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager, Complex Programs to direct and govern large-scale, enterprise delivery engagements. In this role, you will take operational ownership of mission-critical production rollouts, serving as the bridge between high-velocity engineering streams and executive customer leadership. You will functionally orchestrate multi-disciplinary engineering talent across software, cloud, and advanced artificial intelligence disciplines to deliver transformative outcomes on schedule.

This is a high-visibility, post-deal delivery role based on customer premises in West Palm Beach, Florida. You will operate in a collaborative on-site environment, directly interfacing with senior enterprise stakeholders to drive governance, manage milestones, resolve delivery bottlenecks, and ensure the realization of complex technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Production Program Delivery and Governance

  • Direct end-to-end program governance, execution, and delivery realization across large-scale, mission-critical enterprise production engagements.

  • Build, monitor, and optimize master program schedules, tracking dependencies across concurrent software, cloud, and AI engineering workstreams.

  • Establish transparent delivery metrics, operational roadmaps, and status reporting cadences for both internal teams and executive client leadership.

  • Drive production project timelines, scope realization, budget fidelity, and rigorous quality assurance across all engineering deliverables.

Technical and Functional Team Leadership

  • Provide senior functional management and direction to multi-disciplinary technical teams without requiring direct organizational reporting lines.

  • Guide cross-functional teams spanning backend software developers, AI/ML engineers, data architects, and cloud specialists through high-velocity sprints.

  • Champion modern software engineering practices, agile methodologies, and continuous delivery disciplines across distributed development pods.

  • Foster an inclusive, high-accountability delivery culture focused on technical excellence, teamwork, and continuous skill progression.

Executive Client Engagement and Co-Creation

  • Serve as the primary technical program point of contact directly embedded on customer premises in West Palm Beach, Florida.

  • Steer executive-level steering committee meetings, articulate technical progress in straightforward business terms, and align project roadmaps with strategic objectives.

  • Build trusted, durable relationships with customer leadership, architecture review boards, and operational stakeholders.

  • Partner with client teams to navigate joint development milestones, approval cycles, and production integration environments.

Operational Excellence and Risk Realization

  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate technical, architectural, and operational delivery risks before they affect project timelines.

  • Formulate clear risk escalation frameworks and resolution workflows to address cross-system dependencies and roadblocks rapidly.

  • Ensure all technical architectures and deployment pipelines adhere to enterprise-grade security, data governance, and operational compliance standards.

  • Capture delivery patterns, retrospectives, and reusable assets to continuously enhance Kyndryl’s global delivery capabilities.

Kyndryl currently does not require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, however, if you are hired to work at a client, customer, or partner location, you may be required to show proof of vaccination to align with their respective COVID-19 vaccination policies.  Those who believe they are eligible may apply for a medical or religious accommodation prior to the start of employment.

Who You Are

You are good at what you do and possess the proven delivery track record to prove it. However, equally as important, you bring a growth mindset and an ongoing commitment to personal and professional development. You are customer-focused, prioritizing client success, stability, and mutual trust above all else. You bring the poise, executive presence, and deep functional fluency required to guide complex technical teams and steer C-level conversations with equal ease. Finally, you are open and borderless—naturally inclusive in how you collaborate across organizational lines, practice areas, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Based in the West Palm Beach, Florida area (or ready to relocate immediately) with an on-site/hybrid schedule working directly at the customer location.

  • Demonstrated senior track record leading and delivering large-scale, complex production programs in enterprise environments.

  • Proven experience providing functional management and technical direction across multi-disciplinary engineering teams without direct organizational reporting lines.

  • Proven consultative ability to engage senior customer stakeholders, steer executive conversations, and manage delivery expectations on customer premises.

  • Strong technical and functional program management acumen capable of guiding high-velocity software, cloud, and AI engineering streams.

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript backend development.

  • Hands-on experience building, designing, and deploying applications using modern frameworks and orchestrators (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI) in production.

  • Experience designing and maintaining modern frontend applications (React, Angular, or Vue), particularly handling streaming data or real-time query responses.

  • Practical understanding and deployment experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, Qdrant, Chroma).

  • Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes to major cloud hyper-scalers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and distributed computing architectures.

  • Strong proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases, alongside solid data engineering tools such as Pandas and Spark.

  • Deep familiarity with Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern software delivery best practices.

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar customer production programs with multi-year timeframes and complex multi-team dependencies.

  • Experience in professional services or client-facing delivery environments across Applications and Enterprise Data domains.

  • Experience with LLM infrastructure tools such as LiteLLM gateways, prompt tracing platforms (e.g., Langfuse), or workflow managers (e.g., Temporal).

  • Familiarity with open-source AI ecosystems (e.g., Hugging Face), agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Semantic Kernel), system prompt tuning, model fine-tuning, and vector search caching strategies (e.g., Redis).

  • Experience using messaging queues or streaming platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ, alongside familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable AI solutions and communicate value to executive stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel and work on customer premises as required.

  • Active professional certifications in major cloud hyper-scalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or AI-specific development pathways.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Informatics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical work experience).
