Position Description:

The CTO Operations and Program Management team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our team to lead planning and delivery of AI/ML projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing complex technology development projects with a leaning towards implementing efficient operations and process improvements. Portfolio will include R&D and other technology projects that bring together systems, software, AI/ML, and other components.

The Program Manager is responsible for independently managing a portfolio of projects many of which are across different market applications, involve collaborators and stakeholders from many different ADI teams, and come in a variety of product form factors. This role requires someone who has a strategic mindset, can lead and influence without authority and collaborate across diverse stakeholders from senior leaders to individual contributors and support staff.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead a portfolio of projects/programs for the AI team in addition to supporting other CTO office projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and business partners to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Work closely with project sponsor, technical lead and cross-functional teams to develop project plans (scope, work-breakdown/milestones, timelines) and manage to these plans within budget and schedule.
  • Identify, escalate, and mitigate program risks, including managing change requests in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and provide regular project updates, performance metrics, and status reports to stakeholders (including ADI leadership). 
  • Develop and refine program management practices to enhance project planning, execution, risk management, reporting efficiency and be a change agent to facilitate adoption of new processes and methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (technical field preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in managing technology projects, technical programs or owning a software product (including running projects through a full development cycle–agile and hybrid approaches). 
  • Demonstrated expertise in successfully managing cross-functional teams and vendors spanning diverse geographical locations. 
  • Experience in successfully employing collaboration and project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Atlassian Suite – JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, etc.
  • Proven ability to navigate organizational silos and to influence and inspire peers across disciplines.
  • Able to deal with high levels of ambiguity and drive clarity for all stakeholders (project teams, partners and senior leadership).
  • Communication style that conveys expertise, clarity, and confidence.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $154,400 to $212,300.

  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
