We are hiring a Technical Product Owner that will be responsible to manage and communicate a clear product technology roadmap based on the product strategy, and work closely with the technology teams to develop the details of that roadmap into actionable features and requirements. As these features are delivered by development teams, you will be leading the work to ensure these features are brought to the market and value is clearly articulated. These features will be delivered in a cloud-native technology environment that focuses on a strong and well architected Lakehouse-based data foundation that powers analytics, AI and ML, Generative AI, cloud applications, and integrated solutions.

In this role, you will be called on to serve as a product expert, providing technical expertise and knowledge of the product to lead development team feature delivery. Success in this role requires a broad understanding of the latest and greatest enterprise cloud solutions and how they fit into a broader enterprise technology environment. The Technical Product Owner must be business and technical savvy, have a big-picture vision, and the drive to make the vision a reality.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with development and product portfolio leads to gain intimate knowledge of Optra product capabilities and objectives
  • Use clear and best practice methods to define the future features and requirements for Optra, then manage the communication with stakeholders to gather input and gain consensus
  • Provide leadership to and participate in SAFe planning ceremonies, leading a matrixed team based on and off-shore and coaching team members to increase efficiency and focus
  • Manage the feature backlog, ensuring the team has clearly defined and prioritized feature to pull into releases
  • Engage with development team members to define sprint objectives and stories; including defining acceptance criteria that aligns with the product vision and objectives
  • Collaborate with development team members to create technical artifacts that communicate the technical functionality of features in the release
  • Create release plans and release notes that clearly and simply communicate what was planned for delivery, and what was ultimately delivered at the end of the release

  • Demonstrated experience in the SAFe Agile Framework
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams in product delivery

  • Communication skills across organizational and technical boundaries, understanding the business and technical context
  • Communication skills to make complex and technical information and language simple and accessible for non-technical audiences
  • Has an overall perspective on business issues, events and activities, and an understanding of their wider implications and long-term impact. Focuses on outcomes rather than solutions and activities
  • Significant experience turning business problems into meaningful product features
  • Demonstrated experience designing and leading the delivery of cloud-native and enterprise solutions
  • Experience with cloud-based IoT solutions and technologies
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with peers and influence others
  • Ability to work independently and multitask effectively

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 Years of experience is required
  • A minimum of 7 years experience working in product development or enterprise delivery teams; solution architecture a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years experience working with Cloud platforms, specifically MS Azure and AWS; Azure and AWS certifications a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in working within blended on-shore/off-shore
