Companies spend millions of dollars to store terabytes of data in data lakehouses, but only leverage a fraction of it for predictive tasks. This is because traditional machine learning is slow and time consuming, taking months to perform feature engineering, build training pipelines, and achieve acceptable performance.


At Kumo, we are building a machine learning platform for data lakehouses, enabling data scientists to train powerful Graph Neural Net models directly on their relational data, with only a few lines of declarative syntax known as Predictive Query Language. The Kumo platform enables users to build models a dozen times faster, and achieve better model accuracy than traditional approaches.


This role is the connective tissue between the product management team, the marketing team, the sales team, and the customer. Become knowledgeable with the product, industry, and the technology. Understand the buyer and user personas to create resonating content and messaging. Launch product announcements and news. Enable partner sellers and Kumo sellers to amplify core messages. Bring customer and product truth into everything you do. 


Partner Enablement: Collaborate closely with sales, product marketing leadership, and partners to identify and align on priority enablement bill of materials roadmap. Deliver against a bill of materials roadmap to meet business priorities - with a focus on co-selling. Identify needs, pain points, and goals, and source, build, and approve engaging, impactful, and scalable enablement content, including training collateral, sales playbooks, and other assets from the roadmap. Ensure consistent quality for sales-facing messaging, positioning, and value propositions across all enablement materials.


Launch & Product Campaigns: Own product launches and product campaigns by collaborating with the product management team and marketing stakeholders to identify, align, and execute on market impacting announcements. Develop messaging frameworks, enablement content, and market facing assets to support announcements and launches.


Website: Own expansion of product focused pages and solution focused pages to tap into benefits for both technical and business audiences. Draft content and revise in partnership with product management stakeholders. Work closely with the design team, web development, and others to ensure content contains technical accuracy, depth, and has a compelling narrative.


GTM Content: Develop GTM content and product content roadmap to support Kumo’s marketing and sales efforts. Ensure key storytelling topics have coverage across social, video, pdf, and webcopy. Partner with SEO strategist to ensure topics are optimized. Source and develop assets like webpages, ebooks, technical white papers, buyer’s guide, case studies, webinars, Kumo+Snowflake content, Kumo+Databricks content, guided walkthrough, 5 minutes to wow demo, use case by department or industry. Why Kumo for use case, business case, use case at data science level, at AI level.


Customer Advocacy: Develop and customer advocacy materials. Interview customers, draft, and finalize written stories. Use story content to create an ecosystem of content (in partnership with marketing and sales teams) Each customer story should have a combination of a written story (with as many measurable metrics as possible), blog, short video, press release, tweet/linkedin companion posts to support the story, etc. 


Executive voice: Develop social media strategy and posts for executives. Work side-by-side with executives and technical contributors to identify and source content. Draft and share social copy. 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of similar experience in a B2B organization.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Candidates should be available to work at least 4 hours a day overlapping the Pacific time zone.
