Summary Generated by Built In

Location: Veszprém, Hungary (In-person) or Hungary (Hybrid/Remote)
Type: Full-time

At Strivacity, we’re simplifying customer sign-ins and disrupting one of the fastest growing markets weighed down by complexity and endless rollouts. Our promise? Lightweight, delightful experiences customers love, backed by exceptional support.

We are looking for a hands-on, deeply technical Product Manager to work embedded with our R&D team in Veszprém, Hungary.

This role is execution-focused: you will work directly with engineers to define, scope, and deliver CIAM capabilities.

You should be comfortable defining requirements for APIs, discussing architecture trade-offs, understanding implementation details, clearly communicate details, and thrive in a pragmatic, fast-moving environment where delivering customer value matters more than process perfection.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the technical definition and delivery of CIAM features end-to-end
  • Work daily with engineers to clarify requirements, unblock decisions, and ensure high-quality implementation
  • Collaborate with US-based product management leadership to understand strategic goals and initiatives, and support refinement execution of features defined by them as well as those you own
  • Translate customer and business needs into precise, technically actionable specs (not high-level concepts)
  • Lead technical discovery and trade-off discussions, especially across authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle, and integrations
  • Define and maintain clear APIs, contracts, and system behaviors
  • Ensure features are implementable, testable, and scalable from day one
  • Partner with engineering to make pragmatic decisions aligned with current company stage and resources
Customer & Product Alignment
  • Engage with global customers and internal stakeholders to understand real-world CIAM use cases
  • Represent the voice of the customer without overcomplicating solutions
  • Contribute to roadmap discussions with a strong grounding in technical feasibility and delivery cost
QualificationsMust-Have

Strong Technical Depth

  • Background in software engineering required
  • Ability to read APIs, understand system design, and discuss implementation details with engineers
  • Comfortable making trade-offs involving performance, scalability, and security

Proven Execution as a TPM

  • 5+ years owning product decisions in a technical domain: scoping features, writing requirements, and making trade-offs with engineers
  • Track record of delivering complex backend or platform features, not just UI products

Effective Engineering Collaboration

  • Builds effective, collaborative relationships with engineers and engineering leaders
  • Understands role boundaries and respects engineering ownership of design and architecture
  • Effective customer and business advocate, setting and holding the bar in scope and delivery negotiation

CIAM / Security Domain Understanding

  • Working knowledge of authentication, authorization, and identity flows
  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, etc.

API-First Thinking

  • Strong experience defining and working with REST APIs, SDKs, and developer-facing products

Pragmatic Builder Mindset

  • Focuses on shipping over following ideal processes
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and operating in a rapidly evolving environment typical of a growth stage organization with limited formal structure
  • Knows when to use a quick solution and when to build to last
  • Willing to make tough decisions to meet business needs

Strong Communication

  • Can clearly communicate with engineers, customers, and leadership
  • Writes clear, unambiguous technical requirements

English Fluency

  • Must be able to communicate clearly with both internal stakeholders and global customers and prospects
Nice-to-Have
  • Hands-on experience with CIAM/IAM platforms (Okta, Auth0, ForgeRock, Ping, Entra ID)
  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of Zero Trust, adaptive authentication, fraud detection
  • Proficiency using AI / LLM tools for product management work
  • Experience working closely with global product teams
