Technical Product Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Technical Product Manager (TPM) with a strong background in Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Platforms (preferably GCP). In this role, you will own the product vision and delivery roadmap, work closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders, and drive end-to-end execution from concept through implementation.
Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the product backlog: define epics and user stories, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business goals.

Serve as the technical liaison between engineering, data science teams, and business stakeholders.

Lead the development and execution of Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate ideas and de-risk delivery.

Partner with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality data solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into actionable features, and ensure timely delivery.

Organize and facilitate Technology Steering Group meetings, driving alignment across teams and leadership.

Act as Chief of Staff / Principal TPM, orchestrating multiple data initiatives, ensuring consistent communication, progress tracking, and delivery.

Ensure best practices in Agile product development, sprint planning, and release management.

Maintain flexibility to work with distributed teams across CET/UK timezones.
Required Qualifications
-
8+ years of overall experience, with 3+ years as a Technical Product Manager in data-focused projects.

Strong technical understanding of Data Engineering, Data Science, and modern data platforms – GCP preferred (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc.).

Proven experience managing backlogs, writing user stories, epics, and maintaining high product quality.

Excellent communication skills – able to influence and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to drive POCs, make data-driven decisions, and deliver results in an agile environment.

Prior experience organizing steering committees or cross-team governance forums is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Willingness and flexibility to work in CET or UK timezone
