Technical Product Manager

Job Description

The Technical Product Manager will collaborate closely with the Software team to lead and manage a long-term, complex API integration project involving multiple partner companies. Ideal candidates will possess strong product management skills and a solid technical understanding, enabling them to effectively drive roadmap development, backlog management, stakeholder alignment, define technical requirements, comprehend system architectures, and efficiently triage incoming partner requests. This role requires clear customer-facing communication, robust internal coordination, and strategic input into technical architecture decisions.

Please note this is a fully remote position.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Project Management, or related technical roles.
  • Proven experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, stakeholder communications, and requirement documentation.
  • Familiarity and experience with project management methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Gantt charts, and Waterfall.
  • Experience working in Jira or similar project management tools.
  • Excellent skills in documentation, technical communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with productivity and collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with API lifecycle management, integration, and partner/vendor relationships.
  • Technical knowledge in SaaS/PaaS platforms and API design (RESTful APIs, GraphQL).
  • Previous experience in technical roles such as software development, software engineering, or solutions architecture.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner - CSPO, Certified Scrum Master - CSM, PMP).
  • Experience with API tools and frameworks such as Postman, Swagger, or OpenAPI.

Location: Fully Remote but occasional travel may be required. 

We have offices in Mountain View, California, if you are nearby and would like an office atmosphere.

Compensation: Market rate based on job level and location
