Who We Are Seeking

In this role, you will be responsible for the discovery and development cycle for a product that will need to provide itself to be valuable, feasible, and desirable. Working at the cross section of business, technology and user experience, you will guide products from conception to launch. You will need the ability and knowledge to break down complex problems into steps that drive product development at speed. Last but not least the Product Manager is the voice of the user inside the team, for our clients, and must be passionate about their needs, wants and experience of the product.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the product and business-planning process across cross-functional teams
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, user research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development and product launch
  • Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build versus buy perspective
  • Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation
  • Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re successfully achieved
  • Create and maintain product requirements document (PRD) that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI throughout the product development life cycle
  • Align PRD with business requirements documentation provided by our clients
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments and cross-functional teams
  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans
  • Build strong relationships within the team, partner and client organizations; working closely with creative directors, UX and UI designers, frontend and backend developers, project managers, and client partners throughout all stages of the product lifecycle
  • Understand and keep a finger on the pulse of business, empathetic design and technology trends and opportunities for inclusion into the roadmap
  • Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization
  • Digest and distill information into simple, compelling actionable insights
  • As needed, participate in the pitch process for new products working with the business development, creative and technology teams to manage resources during these sprints, keeping an eye on user needs to be met, and how we might exceed the expectations of our clients
  • Primarily responsible for process & stakeholder management

What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience working for product development and in agile workstreams
  • Strong experience in a dynamic project management role
  • An excellent resume/portfolio with real world results.
  • A leader in strategic & critical thinking with the ability to act effectively with minimal direction.
  • Proven track record of delivering results on time and on budget. 
  • Solid understanding of interactive design and usability.
  • Proven ability to deliver ideas for digital experiences spanning Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop form factors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$150,000. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Culver City, California. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
