SamaCare Overview

SamaCare helps to eliminate the administrative barriers that limit patient access to life-changing therapies. Insurance-related administrative hassles for prescription drugs result in worse outcomes for patients, delayed therapy, and over $100B of administrative waste for the US healthcare system. Medical providers are forced to manage these workflows on stone-age technology (fax, calls, and snail mail).

SamaCare has built a software platform to help practices streamline those administrative workflows and a two-sided business model that already reaches over 25% of the prescribers of specialty drugs. As a VC-funded company, with triple-digit revenue growth in 2023, we are now building a team to help us scale so that every patient gets access to the right treatment at the right time.

Role Overview

As a Technical Product Manager on our team your work will help shape the future of our product and our rapidly growing platform. You will leverage deep expertise in driving technical roadmaps for enabling a secure, extensible, and robust foundation. You are equally comfortable diving into detailed SQL as leading primary discovery with our practice or pharma customers.

Responsibilities

Effectively communicating product functionality and benefits to a range of internal and external stakeholders, from engineering teams to executives to customers and our broader industry.

Defining and managing the platform product roadmap, working with engineering and design to plan, prioritize, and coordinate the fast-paced and iterative execution of new AI-driven features and enhancements.

Discovery with both our growing practice and pharma customer base to understand their pain points and needs.

Understanding and analyzing data pipelines, algorithms, and automated systems, staying abreast of industry trends (FHIR APIs), competitive landscape and emerging technologies (GenAI).

Leveraging industry leading tools (Snowflake, AWS, etc) to be an enabler for analytics, integrations, and data across the organization.

The Ideal Candidate:

You have 3+ years of demonstrable full-stack product management experience in a fast-growing B2B SaaS product.

Design: You understand and can collaborate with design to lead discovery and help define the right solutions.

Customer-obsessed: You deliver the best experience for the customers by understanding their core needs and pain points. You have a variety of methods of getting feedback from customers.

Data-driven: You prioritize problems and solutions through qualitative and quantitative metrics and are comfortable extracting insights through direct interaction with our data (leveraging SQL or other tools).

Technical Chops: You should be comfortable in describing technical trade-offs and impact to product and business viability.

Communication and Collaboration: You are empathetic and compassionate towards your colleagues and are an excellent communicator.

Scrappy and curious: You know how to navigate in a fast-paced environment and get the “job done”.

What We Offer:
