The TPM plays a critical role in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring that product capabilities are delivered efficiently, meet business needs, and align with OCDC platform architecture and client use cases.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Requirements Translation & Refinement
- Translate high-level product strategy and business requirements into detailed, engineering-ready user stories and acceptance criteria
- Lead requirement refinement sessions with Product Managers and Engineering teams
- Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with product objectives
- Identify gaps, dependencies, and ambiguities in proposed solutions and drive resolution
- Agile Delivery & SDLC Execution
- Manage and maintain product backlogs in coordination with Product Management
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (PI planning, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews)
- Ensure work items are prioritized and sequenced appropriately for delivery
- Partner with Engineering to ensure timely delivery of features, enhancements, and defect fixes
- Engineering & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for Engineering on product requirements and clarifications
- Facilitate communication between Product Management, Engineering, and other stakeholders
- Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and break-fix prioritization
- Coordinate across teams to manage dependencies and ensure end-to-end delivery
- Change Management & Issue Resolution
- Monitor progress against planned work and proactively identify risks or delays
- Manage scope changes and document change requests when requirements evolve
- Resolve blockers impacting engineering delivery
- Provide regular status updates to Product Management stakeholders
- Product Quality & Readiness Support
- Partner with UAT and QA teams to ensure requirements are validated and testable
- Support release readiness activities, including validation of delivered functionality
- Ensure alignment between delivered features and original product intent
- Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Business Systems Analysis, or similar role
- Solid experience working in Agile SDLC environments
- Experience with SDLC and backlog management tools (e.g., Rally, Aha, Jira)
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Proven excellent communication skills with the ability to work across distributed (onshore/offshore) teams
- Proven solid problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with healthcare data platforms, payer systems, or clinical data workflows
- Experience in a product management organization supporting enterprise platforms
- Familiarity with APIs, data integration, and interoperability concepts
- Exposure to large-scale data environments or cloud-based architectures

Reporting Structure
This role reports into the OCDC Product Management organization and partners closely with Product Directors, Strategic Product Managers, and Engineering teams to deliver product capabilities.
