Blueprint is seeking a Technical Product Manager, Direct to Consumer to lead the development of our direct-to-consumer products. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, engineering, product, design, and operations—to create seamless and innovative experiences that help learners discover, purchase, and onboard the right products for their needs. This position requires strong technical expertise, including familiarity with web development frameworks like React and Next.js, CMS platforms such as Contentful or Hygraph, Adobe Commerce/Magento, and CRM or email platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, Iterable, or Braze. Experience with analytics platforms such as Amplitude and the ability to scope and implement new websites or integrate these tools is strongly preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, extensible software solutions that align with business goals.
- Partner with business line product managers and other teams to define your roadmap and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Translate business and user needs into clear user stories, product specifications, and implementation plans.
- Create and maintain detailed acceptance criteria for developers and QA teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on your team’s features, capabilities, and processes.
- Work with teams to implement and manage web data layers and cookies to support analytics, personalization, and tracking initiatives while ensuring compliance with privacy standards.
- Develop features to simplify trial, purchase, and onboarding experiences, enhancing the customer journey.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize product discovery and implement personalization strategies to match learners with the right products.
- Scope and oversee the integration of systems (e.g., CMS, CRM, analytics platforms) to streamline operations and improve user experience.
- Champion Agile principles and methodologies, driving team backlogs and prioritizing epics, features, and user stories.
- Lead initiatives to balance feature development with technical debt reduction and system resiliency improvements.
- Lead SCRUM ceremonies including, sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review and retrospective.
Who You Are
- 5-7 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or Solutions Architect.
- Background as a software engineer, data engineer, or SDET is a plus.
- Technical fluency with the ability to discuss and challenge architectural concepts, trade-offs, and technical decisions with engineering teams.
- Experience acting as the Technical Product Manager for a new website build using frameworks such as React and Next.js.
- Strong understanding of web data layers and cookies, including their implementation to support analytics and personalization while ensuring compliance with privacy standards.
- Strong prioritization skills, balancing feature development with technical improvements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical information to diverse audiences, including executives, stakeholders, and engineers.
