Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Technical Product Delivery Specialist (Entry-Level) to join their team in Seal Beach, CA.
As a Technical Product Delivery Specialist you will determine, document and provide technical data delivery requirements based on customer and contract guidelines across multiple customers, models, and programs. This role gathers complex technical documents and data, assembles technical end-products, performs quality checks, and completes release of customer technical end-products in the required formats. The specialist will maintain and resolve issues related to delivery of record data files, customer access to online technical content, and the technical data library, and will provide input on process and tool improvements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Determine document and technical data delivery requirements per customer and contract guidelines as well as manage and support the technical data library.
- Gather, assemble, and package complex technical documents and data for customer delivery.
- Perform quality checks and ensure that technical end-products meet contract and quality standards.
- Release customer technical end-products in the appropriate format and maintain release records.
- Maintain and resolve issues with delivery record data files and customer access to online technical content.
- Provide input and recommendations for process and tool improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Prioritizes customer needs and delivers solutions that meet requirements.
- Drives innovation by actively looking beyond our procedures to uncover high-impact opportunities and innovative process improvements.
- Identifies and corrects unsafe conditions and demonstrates proactive safety leadership.
- Capable of translating business needs into actionable requirements.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with technical data delivery, configuration management, or product support data
- Capable of translating business needs into actionable requirements
- Familiarity with Database Management Tools: Records Management Databases, Excel, and operating system protocols.
- Experience with the validation of SGML and S1000D (XML) data module
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple programs/customers
- Proficient with common office and database tools (e.g., Word, Excel, MS Office)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
