What you’ll contribute to
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Operations Manager to join our Quality & Service Division – Eastern Region in a max term role for 12 months.
As our Technical Operations Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of planning, facilitating, and delivering high‑level technical support to Dealers—ensuring “fix it right” outcomes, customer satisfaction, and strong business performance across the short, medium, and long term.
This position is based in Moorebank, NSW, and offers the chance to get out into the field with regular metro and regional NSW travel, plus occasional interstate trips.
How you’ll make an impact
Provide Toyota and Lexus dealers direct technical support activities across the region that are effective, flexible and in response to need, to drive customer satisfaction, ensure Fix It Right and encourage Toyota for Life standards.
Implement processes and procedures to monitor, report and resolve field issues to achieve Early Detection Early Resolution (EDER) and ensure TMCA meet all Distributor targets.
Support development and delivery of Dealer Technical meetings and conferences.
Analyse and report on Dealer Product Report and Technical Support System case quality then implement activities to improve quality.
Monitor own tasks with respect to compliance with all relevant regulations, statutory requirements and TMCA operational requirements, including OH&S compliance to minimise Toyota’s risk exposure and liabilities.
Monitor performance against targets and maintain accurate reporting systems, recommending improvements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

Formal qualifications as a licensed Mechanic - Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent automotive qualification) – required.
Strong experience in a similar role in the automotive industry including background in Toyota or Lexus dealership service or technical operations – desirable.
Significant experience as a senior technician with strong technical knowledge, Toyota and Lexus product experience is highly regarded with Vehicle driver’s license
EV/HV Vehicle experience desired.
Strong understanding of the automotive industry and Dealer networks.
Intermediate to advanced skills in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Salesforce.
