POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Operations Associate will partner with the Technical Operations team in day-to-day operations, document management and project management assistance of the Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC), Clinical Supply Chain (CSC), and Global Commercial Supply Chain (GSC) teams.
JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Technical Operations team with internal meetings including scheduling and communicating agendas and meeting minutes.
- Assists with tracking and communicating team decisions, status updates, action items and risks until resolution.
- Support Technical Operations team with document management activities, including document set-up, file formatting, metadata entry, and tracking document uploads.
- Support Technical Operations team with budget activities, including purchase order requisitions and accrual tracking.
- Provide support to the CMC Functional Group with shipping tracking activities, including logging shipment information and maintaining archive of shipping documentation.
- Contributes to the standardization of project management best practices at Mirum
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in scientific/healthcare/business field
- Experience (1+ years) in within the pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced virtual environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands, across time-zones, while maintaining positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, complete tasks to deadlines and support product team in doing the same.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members creating an environment that fosters successful teamwork, collaboration and cooperation.
- Strong knowledge of the Acrobat Professional and Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $95,000 USD. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to; skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location. Please note that the required compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits unless otherwise provided.

Mirum’s approved medication is LIVMARLI® (maralixibat) oral solution which is approved in the U.S. for the treatment of cholestatic pruritus in patients with Alagille syndrome one year of age and older.
Mirum’s late-stage pipeline includes two investigational treatments for debilitating liver diseases affecting children and adults. Maralixibat (LIVMARLI), an oral ileal bile acid transporter (IBAT) inhibitor, is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for pediatric liver diseases and includes the MARCH Phase 3 study for progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC) and the EMBARK Phase 2b study for patients with biliary atresia. Mirum’s second investigational treatment, volixibat, also an oral IBAT inhibitor, is being evaluated in three potentially registrational studies including the OHANA Phase 2b study for pregnant women with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, VISTAS Phase 2b study for adults with primary sclerosing cholangitis, and the VANTAGE Phase 2b study for primary biliary cholangitis.
