Responsibilities
- Effectively manage a team of engineers
- Attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent
- Develop ambitious yet achievable goals for your team, and reliably deliver results
- Work closely with stakeholder team to develop a roadmap and future vision for your team
- Mentor and grow individual contributors to continuously up-level your team
- Deliver solutions quickly, at the right levels of technical depth and quality
- Understand customer challenges and provide appropriate solutions at the right technical level
- Integrate complex systems with easy to use tools and solutions
Requirements
- Computer Science Degree, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of people management experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Demonstrated history of management of engineering teams
- Proven ability to hire, manage, and grow exceptional engineers
- Expertise in a modern programming language, such as Python, Go, R, and/or C/C++
- Strong product engineering fundamentals, working with customers to understand challenges
- Familiarity with common APIs, best practices, and data products
