- Certification & Competency Governance: Manage and maintain the certification and recertification programs for technical and maintenance personnel. You will create and continually update written, online, and practical exams to verify technical competency.
- Needs Assessment & Collaboration: Collaborate directly with engineering and maintenance teams to perform detailed training needs analyses. You will translate operational changes, technical specifications, and updated maintenance procedures into impactful training content.
- External & Internal Course Coordination: Research, recommend, and organize both internal and external technical training courses to meet the evolving technological needs of the organization.
- Compliance & IATF Alignment: Ensure all technical learning and development processes comply with strict IATF 16949 and quality management standards.
- Tracking & Comprehensive Reporting: Monitor, track, and evaluate the progress of trainees and overall program effectiveness, providing detailed reports to management. You will maintain meticulously organized physical and digital training histories, manuals, and records for audit readiness.
- Onboarding & Mentorship: Conduct counseling to address workmanship discrepancies or behavioral challenges of new hires undergoing technical training.
What You Will Bring
- Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, Human Resources, or a related technical field (or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on technical training experience).
- Technical Training Expertise: Proven experience developing and delivering technical training curriculum, preferably within an advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, or automotive environment.
- Equipment & Process Literacy: Strong familiarity with manufacturing equipment, tools, and maintenance practices, with the ability to quickly grasp and translate complex technical procedures into simple learning steps.
- Quality Standards Alignment: Solid understanding of training compliance and documentation requirements under IATF 16949 or ISO 9001.
- Exceptional Communication: Outstanding presentation, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with the ability to effectively mentor diverse technical learning groups.
