The SEI Wealth Platform has a challenging career opportunity for a Technical Lead. This position requires a foundation of software development knowledge, and the ability to work in an Agile team environment and expand existing development skills through technical project work. You should be adaptable, possess a wide range of technical skills, and demonstrate the ability to understand financial services business requirements. You should be able to deliver individual code as well as technically lead a team of developers; and have the ability to switch context quickly and efficiently with project managers, database engineers, technical operations and other platform personnel.
 

What You Will Do
  • Lead and manage technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions and successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate with onsite/client teams to track project status, resolve issues, and ensure smooth execution.
  • Provide strong technical leadership with hands-on involvement in architecture, development, infrastructure, and solution delivery.
  • Mentor, motivate, and lead team members to improve technical capability, collaboration, and performance.
  • Drive project execution, resource planning, prioritization, and delivery mgmt across multiple initiatives.
  • Review technical solutions, code, and infrastructure configurations to ensure quality, scalability, and compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including delivery, operations, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely delivery by balancing technical excellence, customer expectations, risk management, and operational efficiency.
What We Need From You
  • 15–20 years of experience in the Information Technology industry with proven leadership experience.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in enterprise technologies, software development, infrastructure, and modern architecture practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage resources, and coordinate onsite-offshore delivery models.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, delivery governance, and QA practices.
  • Experience in technical design reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and solution implementation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities in complex enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with:
    • Hands-on experience with Linux administration, scripting, and infrastructure automation.
    • Strong knowledge of web applications, integrations, web servers, and security best practices.
    • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, and GitOps methodologies.
    • Exposure to AI-assisted development, operational automation, and modern platform engineering practices.
Additional Knowledge and/or Experience Desired
  • Experience managing end-to-end execution and delivery of enterprise infra and technology projects.
  • Strong exposure to infrastructure architecture, deployment, automation, and operational support environments.
  • Hands-on experience in code reviews, infrastructure configuration reviews, and deployment governance processes.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, virtualization, networking, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Experience in incident management, root cause analysis, support, and system performance optimization.
  • Understanding of infrastructure security, compliance standards, ITSM processes, and best practices.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement, operational readiness, scalability, and HA initiatives.
