Overview: Lead the architecture and delivery of generative AI solutions, ensuring best practices in data processing, LLM integration, and AWS deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and oversee AI/ML pipelines using AWS Bedrock for hosting and fine-tuning LLMs.
- Design and manage vector search infrastructure (OpenSearch or equivalent) for semantic retrieval.
- Define data workflows: text chunking, preprocessing, and vectorization (Python or similar).
- Evaluate and integrate LLMs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, etc.), optimizing for cost, latency, and accuracy.
- Mentor engineers on coding standards (Python), CI/CD, and production deployment (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in AI/ML engineering, with 2+ years leading AI projects.
- Hands-on AWS Bedrock and OpenSearch experience.
- Strong Python skills for data pipelines and microservices.
- Familiar with LLM workflows (prompt engineering, fine-tuning).
- Solid communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
