Role Summary
This role provides the most senior level IT technical lead services, directing technology strategy across platforms and teams, while delivering user-centric full-stack solutions and managing scalable backend integration.
Responsibilities
- Provides senior-level technical leadership for complex software, middleware, and hardware initiatives across multiple platforms. Delivers high-impact architectural design, development, and maintenance solutions.
- Ensures viability and effectiveness of IT deliverables by evaluating development options, approving architectural decisions, conducting functionality and security testing, and overseeing production support.
- Resolves complex technical problems, performs root cause analysis, and proactively mitigates risks introduced by less experienced staff. Anticipates and prevents potential system failures.
- Serves as a key technical communicator with stakeholders, evaluating and articulating the impact of change requests, while influencing and persuading on solution strategies.
- Maintains deep expertise in IT development methodologies, architecture, and emerging tools; mentors team members and leads adoption of best practices and new technologies.
- Oversees creation, approval, and maintenance of detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and development standards.
- Champions continuous improvement of development methodologies, technical standards, and enterprise tooling.
- Develops robust, maintainable, and automated test-backed code. Creates reusable components, ad hoc queries, and reports. Leverages modern development frameworks to enhance automation and code quality.
- Drives team-wide productivity through collaborative frameworks, technology integration, and mentorship. Proactively identifies and resolves potential technical issues before escalation.
- Ensures compliance with IT and Information Security protocols and contributes to improvements in security policies and practices across teams.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of business operations across front, middle, and back-office functions. Designs technology solutions that support efficient workflows and strong control mechanisms.
- Participates in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
- Collaborates with UI/UX and front-end teams to deliver user-centric, full-stack solutions.
- Integrates and manages seamless data flow across APIs, databases, and backend services to ensure performance and scalability.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a technical lead role.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant fields such as Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering, or a master’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science.
- Need a Senior tech lead experience (not just hands on development).
- Strong expertise in AWS, Python & Back Office - Fund Pricing, treasury and oversight expertise & experience.
- Familiarity with CFT/Terraform that define what's being deployed.
- Ability to apply technology with strong business context.
- Influence and leadership at a senior individual contributor level.
