1 - First ShiftJob Summary
Are you the type of person who is eager to learn, dependable and detail-oriented? In this role you will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other subject matter experts to create technical documentation (parts manuals, assembly procedures for digital instructions). We’re looking for individuals who can problem solve, are detail-oriented, imaginative, and that work well collaboratively.What You’ll Do
1. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and/or vendors to develop new machine-specific illustrations for parts manuals and/or assembly procedures for digital instructions using 2D and 3D graphical programs, digital photographs, and drawings or diagrams from solid models.
2. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and/or vendors to revise machine-specific illustrations for parts manuals and/or assembly procedures for digital instructions using 2D and 3D graphical programs, digital photographs, and drawings or diagrams from solid models.
3. Submit draft(s) and collaborate with reviewers (engineering, manufacturing, product safety/legal, technical editor) to create a final copy for publishing or release to shop floor.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required. Two or four-degree in a technical field such as industrial design, graphic design, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and job-related experience preferred.
- Ability to use MS Office required.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator or similar software required.
- Experience with CAD (Computer Aided Design) software preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude required.
Travel
- Occasional travel is expected of this position.
Work Location
