Bitmovin is a global Series-C SaaS scale-up that provides award-winning video streaming technology to world-renowned brands including Disney+, Discovery+, BBC, Red Bull Media House, Hulu, fuboTV, and The New York Times, to name just a few. 

Our solution suite consists of a Video Encoder, Player, and Analytics platform, enabling content owners to redefine the viewer experience through API-based workflow optimization, fast turnaround, and scalability. Innovations include the first commercial HTML5 MPEG-DASH.

Early in your technical career and wondering what you want to do? We are looking to offer 2 people the chance to work across a number of our business units. You will have the chance to solve technical problems both remotely and on client-site with a number of our exciting global customers. Do you already have diverse skills and a drive to succeed, but would like exposure to a variety of revenue streams that propel a tech company's growth? This might be for you. 

We are offering you the opportunity to be exposed to and develop across the multiple facets of a Technology business so you can cultivate the career path that best aligns with you. Starting out in the depths of our high-energy engineering team, you will be educated on our products, software engineering principles, technical support, customer success, solutions, and much more; all with the intent of helping contribute in meaningful ways, while learning more about the tech business and yourself. Whether you want to be a Solutions Architect, Developer or Customer Advocate, this role will give you the fundamental skills in the streaming media industry to succeed. 

• Work with our engineering team on a range of software related challenges
• Work with our customer facing teams - Solutions and Support, to understand the importance of a “customer centric” mindset and the challenges we are looking to solve with our product suite.
• Have the opportunity to rotate teams to obtain different experiences to shape your career.
• Have the opportunity to travel to client locations across the globe (US, EMEA, South America).

• A genuine interest and passion for video technology
• A computer science degree, have  a STEM background or Engineering skills in one commonly used programming language.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand complex technical problems with relentless curiosity
• Motivation to work for a start-up and try your hand at many disciplines
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Willingness to travel internationally for business purposes.

Compensation: $45,000–$55,000 USD annualized, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications. Compensation will be pro-rated for the duration of the internship.
