Role Overview
We are looking for a versatile Technical Engineer to join our Thailand team, specializing in the design and implementation of system and solution diagrams across AI video analytics, AI cybersecurity, data centres, networking, IT equipment, servers, and IoT sensors. This role is pivotal in architecting robust, integrated solutions that power Thailand’s smart infrastructure and digital economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and document comprehensive system and solution diagrams for projects involving AI video analytics, cybersecurity, data centres, networking, servers, IT equipment, and IoT sensor integration.
- Architect and implement end-to-end solutions for safe city, data centre, energy, and public safety initiatives, leveraging Gorilla’s AI and security platforms.
- Knowledgable in integration of data centre infrastructure (servers, storage, networking equipment), ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and security.
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of IT equipment, including physical servers, network devices, and storage systems, in line with Thailand’s regulatory and operational standards.
- Design and implement IoT solutions, including sensor integration, device connectivity, and secure data transmission, supporting real-time analytics and automation.
- Collaborate with Thai government agencies, local enterprises, and technology partners to translate business and compliance requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure all system designs adhere to Thailand’s data privacy, cybersecurity, and smart city regulatory standards, including secure on-premise and cloud deployments.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, customers, and partners throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Stay current with Thailand’s evolving technology landscape, proactively recommending enhancements and innovative approaches for data centre, networking, and IoT projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience designing and implementing system and solution diagrams for AI, video analytics, cybersecurity, data centre, or networking projects.
- Experience in data centre operations, including server, storage, and network equipment installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Proficient in networking, including LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, wireless and network security.
- Experience with IoT technologies: sensor integration, device connectivity, and IoT data management.
- Familiarity with cloud and edge computing, and experience with both on-premise and cloud deployments in Thailand’s enterprise landscape.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Thai language proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with Thai public sector clients, system integrators, or multinational technology projects is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with smart city, data centre, energy, or public safety projects in Thailand.
- Certifications in AI, cybersecurity, networking, or data centre operations.
- Hands-on experience with Gorilla’s technology stack or similar platforms.
- Understanding of Thailand’s digital economy, smart city initiatives, and regulatory requirements.
