Job Summary
As our ServiceNow Technical Engineer in Bangalore India, you will be at the forefront of our ServiceNow journey, acting as both a technical expert and a strategic partner. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering seamless integrations, enhancing platform capabilities, and fostering collaboration across teams. Your expertise will empower us to unlock the full potential of ServiceNow and pave the way toward AI-driven innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Design, implement, and manage complex ServiceNow integrations across ITSM, HR, SPM, App Engine, IRM, and ITOM modules.
- Business Analysis: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and translate requirements into innovative ServiceNow solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a spokesperson and trusted advisor for internal teams, bridging technical and business conversations to achieve shared goals.
- Platform Strategy: Participation in implementing the roadmap for ServiceNow enhancements, including the adoption of AI technologies to elevate automation and decision-making capabilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Ensure optimal performance and scalability of the platform while keeping up with the latest ServiceNow advancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.
- Proven experience delivering ServiceNow implementations in large enterprise environments.
- Experience working in global and cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of end-to-end business and IT service management processes.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps delivery environments.
Technical Skills
- ServiceNow platform configuration and development.
- JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies.
- Integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Reporting and dashboard creation.
- Service Catalog and Workflow development.
- CMDB/CSDM and Service Mapping exposure.
- Experience with ServiceNow SPM/PPM, IRM, HR modules is highly desirable.
Process Knowledge
Strong understanding of:
- ITIL Framework
- IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Demand & Portfolio Management
- Asset & Configuration Management
- Continuous Service Improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
