Required Education: MA / MS in related field with 10+ years’ experience (preferred) or in lieu: BA/BS in related field with 15+ years’ experience or specific waiver of education may be considered based on extensive experience level
Required Experience: 10+ years of experience as a Technical Editor
PingWind is seeking expertise in the MS Power Apps platform and SharePoint Online. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs to educate and enhance the skills of our workforce in using various collaboration platforms, specifically focusing on MS Power Apps and SharePoint Online.
Primary Responsibilities:
Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:
• Responsible for content of technical documentation.
• Check author's document for spelling, grammar, and content problems (e.g., missing instructions or sections; redundant or unnecessary sections).
• Accuracy of content may fall under this position or the programmer, depending on the expertise of the editor.
• Ensure that documents follow the style laid out in the organization's style guide.
• May also be responsible for maintaining the style guide.
• Suggest revisions to the style guide as appropriate. Editor is often a technical writer who has moved to this position.
• Experience in explaining highly technical data and information in simplistic grade school language for end users of complex IT systems and projects.
• Must be able to use a variety of word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and scheduling tools.
• Develop comprehensive and clear documentation for government contracts, including proposals, technical specifications, and project plans.
• Verify that all content complies with security and privacy policies associated with government contracts.
• Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity, coherence, and adherence to contractual requirements.
